GINPIT

Kasterlee is the pumpkin village.
These orange fruits are deeply rooted in Kasterlee’s history. From in the early 1700s the people of Kasterlee have been eating pumpkin porridge. And today they are still mockingly called 'pumpkin porridge eaters'.

When some inhabitants of Kasterlee started feeling the itch to market their own gin, it was no surprise that they based it on pumpkin seeds.

Forget the usual aperitifs and try the GIN PIT.
This balanced and refined aperitif can be purchased at the Kasterlee Tourist Office and El Boracho Wines & Spirits (Retiesebaan 146, Kasterlee).
