pumpkin statues & ‘pumpkin gluers’

pumpkin statues

In the pumpkin town of Kasterlee, pumpkins are the order of the day in October, when this orange fruit takes over the streets. Cheerful pumpkin statues are erected at the churches of Kasterlee and its districts Tielen and Lichtaart. Always an original eye-catcher.

‘pumpkin gluers’

The pumpkin statues in the town squares are the work of enthusiastic volunteers, the so-called ‘pumpkin gluers’. They cover the statues with pumpkins. The ‘pumpkin gluers’ are still looking for helping hands for a week in September. Want to be a part of their team? Then give the Kasterlee tourist office a call.
