'What is a town without its very own typical sweets,' thought Dirk Ver Heyen of the Kasterlee-based Potiron restaurant. Together with his pastry chef, he came up with several chocolate delicacies. And lo and behold, chocolate pumpkins with a creamy filling and their thinner version, the ‘karakskes’.
